Climbing at the Dragon’s Teeth in Aberdare National Park. Jeff will be returning to the Dragon’s Teeth for more climbing on the weekend of Aug 31 to Sept 2. The meet will leave Nairobi at 1 PM on Aug 31 and travel to the Shamata Gate at the North end of the Aberdares. The group will camp at the road head on Friday night and hike into the Dragon’s Teeth on early Saturday. Climbing will be on most of Saturday and Sunday morning. The rock is of good quality and routes of easy and difficult grades are there. This trip is for those experienced in traditional climbing and will mostly involve the establishment of new routes.
