Organizer: Ivy Mutiso
An approximate six hour walk from the base of the mountain, this hike is great with all the trappings of a good day out! Views are supposed to be spectacular, on all sides with the maasai plains and on the other the city of Nairobi, so bring your camera.
The hike can be on loss and uneven gravel so hiking boots recommended. Additionally we are into the rains so rain gear is also required, hat, sun glasses, sun screen. Bring your packed lunch/trail food as well as at least three litres of water.
You will also need to pay for a guide which should be about 300/- in total for a group of 4. Also for those with a car, you’ll need to pay for parking of your car at a village manyatta of about 200/- per car.
Meet at Dormans Coffee shop, Karen Cross Roads shopping complex parking Lot at 9.00am, Saturday 15 May.
We will car pool so please let me know by noon Friday 14 May if you have room in your car for passengers (& how many) or if you need a ride.
