Felix Berg climbed the top of Himalayas: Cholatse (6445m), Baruntse (7182m) and beautiful Ama Dablam (6855m), Kangchenjunga (8586m) north face and Mount Everest (8850m). Already in 2004 at the age of 23 years he reached the summit of Everest as expedition leader. Felix has pioneered new routes in Africa including the first ground-up ascent on the East face of Mt.Poi (650m, 7b+/A0) and a Ruwenzori traverse from Congo to Uganda. Other challenging routes as on the Eiger and in Patagonia top up great stories that Felix will present live on his slide show on 22nd February 2011 at the clubhouse at the Nairobi Sailing and Sub Aqua Club.
This night is also potluck supper night, please bring a dish. Charges for the dinner are 400/- for non members who have not brought a dish, 200/- for members who have not brought a dish, and for those that have brought a dish eat for free.
