Slideshow by Johannes Refisch – “Peru- a photographic transect from West to East and from the coast to the Andes” 

Peru has an enormous diversity in terms of landscapes, climates and biodiversity. Dr. Johannes Refisch went on a road trip from the coast across the Andes to the humid mountain forests in the Eastern part of the country. This trip shows a steep gradient from dry to wet, from lowlands to mountains, from ancient to modern cultures. Photographic highlights  include the famous Inka city Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, the “Ciudad Blanca” (White City) Arequipa, among others.

 

As usual there will be supper buffet for 25pax (first come first served). Members 700/=, Non Members 800/=

The “Mini-Dash” rock climbing competition is a shorter alternative to the annual “Maxi-Dash.” The

objective of the Mini Dash is for teams of two people to score as many points as possible by

successfully climbing set climbs in Lukenya.

All MCK members and guests, including non climbers, are welcome to spectate the competition. The

night after the Mini-dash, all are invited to camp on the Lukenya grounds on Saturday night, so don’t

forget to bring your tents, drinks, and food. (There will be 2 askaris.)
